Demenico occupe une place sp\u00e9ciale dans mon c\u0153ur en tant que fondateur d’Urbi et Orbi. Nich\u00e9e le long des c\u00f4tes rocheuses de Mani, juste \u00e0 l’ext\u00e9rieur de Limeni et avant d’atteindre la grotte enchant\u00e9e, se trouve une c\u00f4te que les habitants appellent Demenico, l\u00e0 o\u00f9 je suis n\u00e9, sur l’un de ces rochers solitaires. L’origine du nom Demenico reste un myst\u00e8re \u00e0 ce jour. Peut-\u00eatre a-t-il des racines v\u00e9nitiennes, adapt\u00e9es au fil du temps par les habitants \u00e0 travers des si\u00e8cles de tradition orale. Cela remonte \u00e0 l’\u00e9poque o\u00f9 la marine v\u00e9nitienne a tent\u00e9 de conqu\u00e9rir cette terre, mais n’a jamais r\u00e9ussi. \u00c9tait-ce le nom d’un navire qui a rencontr\u00e9 son destin ici, ou d’un marin v\u00e9nitien qui a trouv\u00e9 refuge sur ces rives ?
\nDemenico \u00e9voque les rochers ombrag\u00e9s, cach\u00e9s de la lumi\u00e8re du jour sauf pour le soleil de midi. Ses couleurs distinctives, noir et blanc, refl\u00e8tent la mousse des vagues, juxtapos\u00e9es de mani\u00e8re unique caract\u00e9ristique de cette terre. \u00c9rod\u00e9s par la mer, ces rochers subissent une transformation, passant de formes rugueuses et indompt\u00e9es \u00e0 des formes lisses et accessibles, inspirant la conception des boutons Demenico. \nLa finition terrazzo est cr\u00e9\u00e9e avec des couleurs de ciment de notre palette de base ou optionnelle, combin\u00e9es avec des agr\u00e9gats blancs ou noirs. Sur demande, dans le cadre de notre projet Zero Waste, nous pouvons utiliser d’autres agr\u00e9gats color\u00e9s tels que le bleu poussi\u00e9reux, etc.
