Une carte postale repr\u00e9sentant l’ancienne tour Toghrul, situ\u00e9e pr\u00e8s de T\u00e9h\u00e9ran (Iran), a \u00e9t\u00e9 le point de d\u00e9part de cette collection.
\nLe nom provient du terme farsi \u00ab\u00a0siman\u00a0\u00bb, qui signifie b\u00e9ton. Marqu\u00e9es par le pliss\u00e9 embl\u00e9matique – cr\u00e9ant un jeu d’ombres et de profondeurs en constante \u00e9volution – les 7 pi\u00e8ces – pr\u00e9sentoir \u00e0 g\u00e2teaux, bougeoir court, bougeoir haut, vide-poches, petite assiette, grande assiette, vase – arborent un fort caract\u00e8re architectural.
